  1. It definitely works I’m 33 and I had mild thinning I started using lllt I was a bit skeptical like everyone but today after 3 years my hair is like how It was when I was in my early twenties, the trick is to use this treatment early on and not to waste time in waiting for bald spots

  2. It worked for me for 4years from age 20 to 24. After that It stopped working. I bought hairmax advanced 7. After 25 I started using finasteride and minoxidil. I think using all 3 together gives best results

  3. Hi Dr Anne,
I am taking MINOXIDIL right now since September 2022 it gave good results but I would like to try LLLT because a clinic I visited told that it could increase hair growth. They told me that if start with them I have to stop MINOXIDIL as far as they say that it wouldn’t help the therapy with the LLLT.
What do you think about it?

  4. I have acne prone skin and am afraid of pore clogging ingredients and potential acne triggers in a mositurizer. I would like to know what your thoughts about the omega water cream from the inkey list and the neutrogena aqua gel and aqua cream is. I have watched your video about the inkey list one, but still I am not sure which one of these 3 I should purchase.☺️

  5. Thank you for this informative video! I am currently using Minoxidil/Finasteride spray with LLLT helmet. My hair loss is stress related, and I cannot get off the minoxidil and finasteride because I start shedding again. Is there anything else you can recommend for this type of hair loss?

  6. I’ve watched a bunch of videos discussing the LLLT studies (all of which seem to have fairly limited number of participants and rarely separate results bn men and women). It seems a substantial number saw no results and for those who did, the improvement was minimal (even if the technicians found them “statistically significant”). From my perspective, the improvement over a fake LLLT device (placebo) was ~5-10%. Not up to 10% overall, but 10% over the placebo. For me, it’s not worth the effort and expense. Rx (as much as I disdain big pharma) seems to be the single most effective means of hair restoration.

  7. What’s scary about wearing a helmet is, the possible initial loss of MORE hair.
That would just send me over the edge, since my current loss is at least 40%.
I do use a redlight on my face, and that has made the hair ON MY HEAD grow BECAUSE I USE AN ARCH (a curved device that you slide under. It covers from the top of my head to my neck) .

  8. Thank you so much for detailed video
Since LED/laser devices are relatively new, how could we be sure they are totally safe to use so close to the brain, eyes ?
Does this therapy interact with any medications?

  9. A study indicates that LLLT may have a detrimental effect on melanoma tumors by promoting blood vessel formation, which can potentially accelerate tumor growth. This suggests caution should be exercised when considering LLLT treatment for individuals with melanoma or similar conditions.

  10. Thank you for this great video. I really had to chuckle at the picture of you wearing a face mask on your head because I have done the same thing but in reverse. After my mini Mito box, which I had been using for a number of years, stopped working I decided to try something a little different. I have an IRestore helmet. I have tried using it on my face by holding down the little "on" button inside the helmet and putting my face in the helmet (eyes covered). I was thinking that the red light might help my complexion 🤔- I have not been using it long enough or consistently enough to see if it is doing anything – but after seeing your demo I have started to wonder if using the IRestore on my face might cause hair to grow on my face. 🙂

  11. Hi Dr Anne! Lol that picture of the face mask on your scalp, it’s very creative I love it. I’m considering buying one as well but I got scared of my previous one that wasn’t comfortable to wear. It has certain pressure points that would leave temporary hollowed out dots on my skin from the pressure of the mask (if that makes sense). Have a lovely weekend and thank you x

  12. I use a Mito red light panel and I am seeing lots of new hair growth around my hairline around my face. I started using the red light on the back of my head, and I’m not seeing any hair growth there yet. Not sure why or what that means.
