  1. Thanks, today I just ordered digestive enzymes, because I have bloating problem with the belly, because I have chronic gastritis that I’m trying to heal. Already feel let’s say fine, I can eat normal standard portions of food without pain, but still only the ones that are easy to digest so eating every day alsmot the same meals xD. So now it’s time to increase step by step stomach acid with gientana for example and I hope that digestive enzymes will take care of the bloated belly. They found I have IBS but it can be due to low stomach Acid or something like that. I hope it’s not SIBO because it’s kindof hard to get rid of forever.

  2. I had bad digestive issues, also I started getting esophogeal spasms I think. I did a carnivore diet for elimination. I found I had no issues with meat but if I eat 5 boiled eggs the spasms come back. I seem to be fairly constipated too. I looked for enzymes but all seemed to be for lactose etc, is there enzymes you can get for protien?

  11. Thank you so much for this video. I have been suffering from exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and I just recently started taking enzymes and I take it probably after the first or second bite that way the enzyme has a chance to hit my stomach before my food does so when my food does hit my stomach, it will digest it

  12. Thank you dr…pls i am pregnant and i have indigestion before the pregnancy. Now its worse can i take the digestive enzymes.pls help me . All rhe food i eat is stocked on my throat.

  13. Hi DR how are you? i got the BIOPSY BACK it says STOMACH BIOPSIES: MILD HYPERANAEMIA – CYSTIC POLYPODS
    2) The material concerns tissue fragments of gastric and esophageal mucosa derived from
gastroesophageal junction, in which a picture of Barrett’s disease with intestinal foci is recognized
metaplasia and mild chronic inflammation in the interstitial tissue.
No erosions, ulceration, dysplasia, or malignancy were identified.GASTRO-ESOPHAGEAL BIOPSIES: BARRETT’S DISEASE

  14. Hi Daniel, recently a private gastroenterologist perscribed me creon tablets. Ever since I ended up in a hospital due to ‘mild pancreatitis’ I’ve been having pretty much constant uneasy feeling in the abdomen that sometimes shoots to the back and echoes to the throat. My stool has been very dry and lumpy for 3 months now. It’s never been like that in my life until now. I’m 32. In the hospital 2 months ago they cured my bloatedness more or less but digestion is still very bad. Bowel movement is very slow. I’m wondering if creon pills can cure this, and if yes, how long would it take for me to start noticing their effect? They do kind of help a little bit with the pain if I eat a bit harder food but I’m still wary of taking them at all because in all honesty I feel the best when I just fast and eat pretty much nothing.

By the way: I didn’t have a typical pancreatitis that required immidiate hospitalisation. I actually spend 2 weeks expecting the bloatedness to go away until one day the shooting pain in the abdomen woke me up during sleep, which is what made me decide to go to hospital. I’m wondering if pancreatitis is just a side effect of something else, a gut problem. I think I’m missing something simple. I also went to the doctors recently and my blood tests and Xray was all good according to them and they just released me home. so i don’t really know…

  16. "I can’t recommend Planet Ayurveda enough! Their products and treatments for stomach issues have worked wonders for me. 🌱 #StomachCare"

  17. Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency is NOT going to be solved with any product ordered from the internet or non prescription supplements.
Prescription enzymes are required and must be prescribed by your doctor, a gastroenterologist.
There are NO standardized digestive enzymes in “supplements” ordered off the internet, and you NEVER know exactly how or where they are manufactured. BUYERS BEWARE.

  18. Question: if I take a digestive enzyme to digest dairy without eating dairy, will I crave dairy or will it cause a problem? I take Digest Gold digestive enzymes which includes lactase, but I have recently stopped eating dairy. I’m just concerned I could be causing a problem by taking an enzyme for something I’m not eating. Thank you for your fantastic videos!

  19. I’m confused here; don’t take DE if you have diaherea? But if you suspect SIBO then it’s ok? I have both… so DE or no? Thank you

  21. That’s a great video! Thanks for your effort. I just have a question regarding the bloating. Some of my friends say that probiotics helped, some say digestive enzymes worked. Do you know how they’re different? or can we use them both for the consistent bloating issues?

  22. How about the effect on liver, I was taking some, and went for blood work and some liver test came up off, I stopped them and retested and came back normally… I think it was AST and ALT. Can it be concerning? Can we take them when doing Keto?

  23. In my experience of taking them, taking them after eating caused me a painful night later but taking them with the first bite led to a more peaceful night’s sleep.

  24. I’ve been doing Loomis enzymes and have to say the diet has been really effective for me dealing with chronic fatigue. My ND who suggested the diet did testing on me by pushing on certain points on my body which were fairly painful. She says this indicated my lymphatic system was really clogged up due to years of poor nutrition. Anyway it took a few months to really start noticing improvement but now 10 months later my energy is much better and I don’t have stomach pains and gas. It can take awhile but I recommend trying it because good digestion is very important to overall health.

  25. Digestion Power by Planet Ayurveda has truly transformed my digestive health! No more bloating or discomfort after meals, and my digestion feels smoother than ever.

  28. Ok…my dr says get off my PPI med..and start taking pepcin..I also have Enzymes made by NOW…Can take these 2 together…?? Or should I take the pepcid just before bedtime so I don’t get acid refund while I’m sleeping..Thank you in advance 🙏

  29. Why do we take digestive enzyme supplements?
Almost all enzymes are proteins (polypeptides – monomeric or multimeric). Each of them only works well in its native state (i.e., properly folded in its 3-D structure) with or without cofactor.

Surely the ingested foreign EXOGENOUS digestive enzymes, like other exogenous protein molecules, are denatured by the gastric acid n digested by the various endogenous proteases (e.g., chymotrypsin, pepsin, n trypsin) n peptidases (e.g., endopeptidases, exopeptidases, dipeptidases, aminopeptidases, n carboxypeptidases) produced by the organs of the human digestive system.

So, QUESTION: Do the ingested n digested foreign EXOGENOUS DIGESTIVE ENZYMES still retain their respective native states n remain functional in human small intestines?
If YES, please give the details of published peer-reviewed journal articles that provide data supporting them.

If NO, why do we take digestive enzyme supplements?
    Thank you.

  30. Thanks doc for providing information.
I have seen many of your vid on supplement and I decided to take digestive enzyme capsule before meal twice a day. My issue of bloating, constipation issue of past 10 years and low guy motility has vanished.
    Thanks again.

  31. Is it common over time to start experiencing abdominal cramping when taking digestive enzymes? This happens to me after a week or two when adding it to a supplement regimen.
