  1. I don’t have depression, maybe it’s all the sunlight. I do use a bunch of different types of light therapies though. I use strobes to attenuate migraine, most recently with an app. I use IR red lights to heal up my burnt and damaged skin and I use torches around the house and under the bed to check for monsters.

  2. Can sunlight work here as a light source for bright light therapy.
I mean if we sit in morning sun shine, will it give same results.
    Namaskar from India🙏

  3. I have never used this as a therapy, but I can confirm that when I wake up before the sun, using a light really does help wake me up and start the day off feeling better than when I don’t.

  4. I actually just met a lighting engineer, he told me about how illuminating without glare (seeing the light bulb/source) is what they engineer now and how bringt lights like 5000k and glare can make you tired as they day goes on and how hospitals are changing their lights to reduce fatigue, all very interesting and has been studied extensively by the Norwegians apparently

  5. I have depression but that would give me a migraine my moods also worse in the summer. My depression was caused by ocd.

  6. Hi, I’m not sure if I am bipolar or not. What is the difference between morning usage and in the middle of the day? Thank you. I have noticed in the winter I use my lightbox in the morning and I feel ok. Seems like now I get summer depression. It’s very strange. Maybe need to use year round.

  7. Dr Marks why should bipolar use it at midday, can you send me the reference I am also a MD and bipolar txs

  8. Do you have to have your eyes open? or is it a skin effect? I have TBI so bright lights are not something I tolerate well unless I can keep my eyes closed. I could see light therapy needing your optic nerve or is it melatonin/vit D from skin? or do they even know/

  9. My therapist told me that it does not have to reach your eyes. I have it for my S.A.D. and have not used it nearly as much as I should because of my hyperphoto sensitivity.
